Youth Games Football Tournament

March 25, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Our dedicated, hard working and incredibly passionate football team have made it to the Youth Games following 2 grueling tournaments. The Y6 boys have already etched their names into the history books with their last minute final win at the regional tournament, and are now looking to go one step further and cement their place as the top school’s football team in all of North Yorkshire!

Will we see a last minute penalty save from Martyn, match winning tackles from Finley or Bailey or maybe a defence splitting through ball from Dominic? Perhaps we will witness a long range thunderbolt from Will, a mazy dribble from Edward, a thunderous finish from Walter or maybe Freddie will cut inside and score the winner. Or maybe top scorer for the season (so far) Fred will deliver on the grandest stage of them all! Nobody knows what will happen, all we do know is that the boys have already done themselves, their parents and the school proud in the previous rounds with their displays of footballing ability, behavior and most of all team spirit. We are all very excited about taking it one step further in Tadcaster.

The event is taking place in Tadcaster on 25h March.
