School Development Plan 2017/18


Leadership and Management

Priority 1 To develop the capacity of middle leaders to effectively lead change within school.

Priority 2 To increase the teaching and learning monitoring skill set of the Governing body.

Teaching, Learning and Assessment

To embed the new Cornerstones Curriculum across

attainment providing rapid and sustained intervention
for those pupil’s not working at age related

To create greater opportunities within the curriculum for pupils to write at greater depth.

Priority 3 To provide weekly one to one nurturing sessions for vulnerable pupils focusing upon their mental health and well-being.

Outcomes for pupils

To raise the percentage of pupils working at Greater depth in writing.

Priority 2

To increase the progress score in writing at the end of KS2.

Priority 1

To develop the Learning environment to create a
stimulating Early years provision
