One of our magnificent Year 6s was presented with the Synergy Schools Spotlight Award last week. Here is the nomination, written by Miss Palmer: Last week, she won 1st place at the Saltburn Music Festival for her exceptional piano performance. Having previously achieved 2nd and 3rd place in earlier years, she set herself the goal of reaching the top position and worked incredibly hard to make it happen. Through countless hours of practice, often dedicating much of her Saturday to perfecting her performance, she demonstrated remarkable commitment, determination and resilience. Her performance was so impressive that a representative from the British music society personally praised the maturity and musical excellence she displayed and presented her with a certificate in recognition of her achievement. Her dedication to her craft and her willingness to strive for excellence make this success thoroughly deserved, and she should be incredibly proud of what she has accomplished.
