Scott Acklam-Hall – Co-opted Governor

Scott has a son who attends our school in Year 2 and he and his family have lived in and around Hutton Rudby since 2007. He moved to the area from Bingley in West Yorkshire.

A big believer in lifelong learning, he is passionate in supporting the school to inspire this belief in children from a young age.

Having worked in the corporate world of learning and development for 20 years, he has supported people development both personally and professionally. Before moving to his current role Scott has had responsibility for the people development strategy of businesses in retail and manufacturing. Scott now runs a Marquee and Events business with his family, based near Potto.

At school, Scott’s favourite subject was Geography, something he loved and will be taking a keen interest in as governor at our school.

Away from work, Scott enjoys running, walking his dogs with his family and friends, cooking and getting away in the caravan!
