Mike White – Executive Head Teacher

Mike White began his teaching career in 1995 and became the substantive headteacher of Brompton-on-Swale CE Primary School in 2006, taking the additional reigns at Crakehall in 2017. In January 2021, Mike also became Executive Headteacher of Leeming & Londonderry Community and Pickhill CE Primary Schools and in October 2022, he joined Hutton Rudby Primary School in the role of Interim Executive Headteacher.  As well as having this role, he has strategic responsibility for the Swaledale Alliance (an ex Teaching School Alliance, now working independently to the DfE) which has 50 partnership schools and also works as a National Leader of Education, supporting schools across North Yorkshire.  A keen sportsman, Mike spends much of his free time playing or coaching football and cricket alongside managing his other career as a father of two and husband!
