Anton Hodge – Local Authority Governor

Anton has many years’ experience of working within councils and supporting schools – at Cambridgeshire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire County Councils. He is currently an Assistant Director of Finance at North Yorkshire and the Chief Finance Officer for Ryedale District Council.

He has extensive financial management expertise, both within the larger organisations and within schools where he has been a school governor in Cumbria and a board member of an academy trust in Newcastle.

Outside of work, Anton writes as a hobby and has published three books, one of which documented his time as Chairman of a senior Scottish football team.
