Rob Johnson

Rob Johnson started his teaching career at Hutton Rudby Primary School in 2014, having gained a First-Class Honours Degree in Primary Education from Durham University. During his time in the school, Rob has taken on many roles including Maths coordinator, ICT coordinator, Humanities coordinator, SENDCo and even Social Media Manager! He was appointed to the role of Assistant Headteacher in March 2020 and led the school's approach to home learning throughout the COVID pandemic. Rob was promoted to Headteacher in March 2024, following 17 months as Acting Headteacher and is immensely proud to lead Hutton Rudby Primary School into the future as part of the Synergy Schools Federation. 

Away from school life, Rob can often be found at the Riverside Stadium, a local 5-a-side pitch, a local gig or walking the dog. Most of his time these days, however, is spent with his wife looking after their daughter who arrived in August 2023.
