A brand new Eco-Team is currently in the making and the newly formed committee will be announced early next week. Following the Eco-Schools programme, there are some new and exciting things in the pipeline for our school community to become involved in. There is great excitement amongst all as we wait in anticipation for the 14 lucky candidates!
Year 4 have been leading the way already with recycling and litter picking...
After watching Greta Thunberg's moving address to the UN in September our school community decided that we couldn't go on as normal anymore.
Our School Councillors were so impassioned that they contacted Mrs Ruddy and her Eco Team and started talking about how we could work together to make a difference!
Therefore, because of the climate crisis our School Council will be working very closely with Eco Team to ensure we do our part, as a school community, for the environment.
Keep checking back for updates on what we are doing.
