Dobby The Lamb!
What a morning we had in Year 5 on Wednesday! Lucy, Amelia and their parents were kind enough to introduce us to their amazingly cool, calm and collected 5 week old lamb, Dobby.
The excitement built in Year 5 as the children realised that we weren’t going at the usual time with the rest of the school and then the moment of truth… The Webbs pulled up and out stepped Mrs Webb carrying a bundle of fluff in her arms.
As she approached it became clear that she was carrying a beautiful baby lamb. After an informative introduction to Dobby the children got the chance to stroke the lovely lamb before he was handed over to Mr. Johnson for a photoshoot! Incredibly, Mr. Johnson managed not to drop the lamb for the entire time he held it, a feat that should surely be applauded. Dobby proved incredibly popular not just with the children, but also with a host of members of staff who came out for a cuddle and a stroke!
Thanks again to the Webbs for bringing Dobby to school last week. He is welcome back any time!?
