Big Pedal 2018

There has been some serious pedalling going on in Hutton Rudby over the last couple of weeks, and I’m not just talking about the glorious return of Ice Cream Friday (which, by the way, is the perfect way to end any week – thank you to all those who run it)! Children, siblings, parents and carers have all been doing their bit to take part in the Big Pedal 2018 which not only raises awareness and encourages sustainable travel, but also pits our school against others in the region / country as we compete to have the highest percentage of pupils and supporters pedal their way to school.

Being in the countryside, this isn’t possible for everyone, so it is incredibly pleasing to announce that we have won the Big Pedal for our area, with a fantastic 66.54% of you pedalling in to school!

Please feel free to continue pedalling to school instead of driving when possible, especially while the weather is so nice!

Thanks to everybody who has supported the Big Pedal 2018.
